Services Our experienced chiropractic care team provides advanced spinal correction utilizing state-of-the-art chiropractic techniques. These methods are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than any previously used in the history of professional chiropractic care. Chiropractic Adjustment/Alignment of the Spine: Gentle contacts and manipulations are performed in specific sequence to ease the bones of the spine back into proper position. This realigning of the spine relieves obstruction of the nerve system, returns the body to a natural state and alleviates pain. ![]() Activator Methods Technique®: In Activator therapy, the doctor uses a small handheld instrument to deliver quick, precise, low-force adjustments to correct subluxations or spinal misalignments. This safe, comfortable technique allows the doctor to help restore your spinal balance and health. Cold therapy/Cryotherapy: Cold packs, ice, compresses and ice massage may be applied to the injured area to reduce swelling and inflammation and promote healing. Intersegmental Traction: Spinal discs depend on the circulation of fluids surrounding spinal joints to provide the nutrition they need for good health. When this circulation is blocked, discs can thin and degenerate. Intersegmental traction is a comfortable, relaxing therapy that applies mild stretches to muscles, ligaments and tissue to help restore circulation, elasticity of the spine and range of motion. Lifestyle & Exercise Counseling: Is the patient sedentary? Athletic? Are there small children at home? What are the physical requirements of the patient's job? These are just a few of the questions doctors may ask to explore a patient's lifestyle demands. The goal is to evaluate potential for injury and identify appropriate stretching and strengthening exercises to help prevent re-injury and promote general wellness. Nutritional counseling may also be provided. ![]() Rehabilitative Exercise: Many patients with joint injuries of the ankle, knee, shoulder and lower back require additional therapy to achieve full recovery. Rehabilitative exercise is used to strengthen the joint, lessen the risk of the re-injury and aide in the proper healing of the injured area. ![]() Massage Therapy: Muscles strained from injury or overuse may cause swelling, soreness and decreased circulation of the soft tissue. This can compress nerve endings resulting in painful spasms. Using soft tissue manipulation techniques, our therapists apply concentrated pressure on trigger points of pain and passive stretching of specific muscles. Once circulation is restored, you should experience increased strength and flexibility of the injured area.
