About Dr. Rodney Nagel

Dr. Nagel grew up in Southfield MI outside of the Detroit area and after graduating high school went to Michigan State University where he graduated in 1985 with his bachelors of Science degree. From there he went to Alaska and became a commercial fisherman and did some other traveling. He used the profits of his commercial fishing experience to pay his way through chiropractic school. Where he attended Palmer College of chiropractic, which is the original school of chiropractic where chiropractic was founded in Davenport Iowa. Dr. Nagel graduated in 1991 with research honors.

After graduation Dr. Nagel associated with a prominent chiropractor in Kenosha, Wisconsin for one year and decided to move to Saginaw, here he started Preferred Chiropractic in 1992. The practice grew as a result of people enjoying their experiences with Dr. Nagel's work at Preferred Chiropractic. Dr. Nagel decided to move the office to a bigger facility and make it more convenient for people to get chiropractic care. To where we are now located in the former Michigan National Bank building on North Michigan at McCarty. Our newer facility helps more people to get well with better parking and easier access.

Dr. Nagel enjoys recreational activities such as boating fishing, ATV riding, hunting, and snowmobiling. Dr. Nagel has two beautiful girls named Haley Alissa and Hannah Ashley.
